Jon Geddes
I'm trying to recreate the 1:1 truck I have now: Does anyone make a club cab short bed ram? I can use a 4dr quad cab if i absolutely have to, but I'd really like to go with a 2dr extended cab.

The only Rams that I know of are the AMT SnapFast kits long out of production, but they were both long bed regular cab versions.
Jared Roach
There is also the ram vts by revell, but it's a reg cab short bed and has a v10 viper engine. It is also oop but shouldn't be that hard to find. Edited January 20, 2011 by Jared Roach
Chad
I know where there are 2 of the revell kits but they're about 20 bucks each Chad
Jordan White
There are quite a few on eBay for cheap http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=revell+dodge+ram&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg= Otherwise there are a few of the snapfast AMT Rams as well. http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=amt+dodge+ram&_sacat=0&_odkw=revell+dodge+ram&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
mikemodeler
Once upon a time there was a resin version of the Ram with a shortbed and extended cab but have not seen that in years. I believe the company was accu-pro out of Michigan. Your best best would be to get 2 of the Ram VTS trucks and use the second cab to create the extended cab. You will have a leftover bed that could make a nice traier. HTH Mike

Chuck Most
The thought of using the Dakota quarter windows has crossed my mind as well- I just never tried it because then I'd have an unbuildable Dakota. (I could raid the windows and convert it to a Durango... the Grand Caravan kit has the same taillamps, as the 1:1 '98-'03 Durango and '96-'00 Chrysler vans had the same taillamps... hmmmm....) One of these days I'd like to kitbash the VTS with the AMT 2500. It would be a bit of work, and the intake is totally different on the production Ram V10, but still kinda sounds like a fun project! Actually what you should do is make the Mexican-only 1999-2001 Dodge Ramcharger, since it also used the Caravan taillights (the non-US versions) and liftgate. Chuck Most
The Mexican Ramcharger also used the Caravan roof skin and liftgate- yeah- that one's on my list, too! Mark- I'm pretty sure I'd mess something up. My hand isn't quite as steady as I wish it was.

Switchback
Accu Pro made a resin extended cab body. I have one as well as there regular Dodge V10 truck engine kit and their kit to convert a 2wd to 4wd. I have had these for about 10 years. I got them when I was getting some stuff together to build the Dodge Ram 6x6 concept truck.
