One small nitpick if I may - it doesn't look like the body is all the way down on the chassis to me. I've used them, too, for in-line fuel filters, but I've usually painted the bodies silver to represent the typical over-the-counter fuel filter and to reduce the Radio Shack look. Nice build. Lazy I guess, lol. Yes, the fuel filter is a resistor. you can paint them silver to simulate metal filters as well.
