71drolds Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 i know this is in the wrong section, but this one seems to get more exposure. i built this using a number of different kits, some custom built stuff and some parts box scrounging. let know good or bad what you think.

crazyjim Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I don't know why, but I've always liked way up in the trucks. I really like this one. Ma's Resin has those wheels. Probably the tires too.
71drolds Posted February 10, 2011 Author Posted February 10, 2011 Very nice work!! Where did you get the rockwells from? the rockwells, frame, springs, t-case, and bumpers came from the USA-1 monster truck

Probably the tires too. Ma's does have the tires and i wish i would have used them. i got these from "so real" and after a long while of brain storming i finally came up with a way to get the hard rubber tires off the rims and onto the rims that i already had mounted on the truck. heres how i did it. http://offroadmodels.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=howto&action=display&thread=660
Dragline Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I'm no truck guy but I'd be proud to say I built that. Very nice indeed sir. Bob
71drolds Posted February 10, 2011 Author Posted February 10, 2011 Not big enough. Way nasty! Rocks! i actually put bigger tires on it than i originaly planned! heres a pic with the smaller tires. the only thing i like better about this way is it shows off the scratch built shocks more.
