It is sad news to hear. I feel he was a big part of my life, through his work ~~~ which became my passion.

Thank you, Mr. Toteff, and God Bless.

Condolences to his family, loved ones and closest friends.

We owe George Toteff much more than many here may know. RIP sir, & thank you for your contributions to the hobby. :P

Amen, Mark, couldn't have said it any better myself. If you are a model car builder, you owe it to yourself to read the obituary posted by Danno above....TIM

It was men like George Toteff, from the legendary WW-II Generation, who gave us kids born during WW-II and of course, during the postwar "Baby Boom" the makings of a hobby that is something which helped define our age group, just as much as we defined the hobby itself over the years.

Amen to all the above comments, our hobby exists because of Mr. Toteff. There is a very nice obituary posted on the Round 2 web site.

Well that's weird. Must have been a temp thing. Works fine this morning.

Your most recent link, the toy train revue one.

Must've gotten mixed up in the Canadian translator, eh? :D ;)

All good. Just some info regarding one of the important people in the history of MPC which I saved while doing some online research. I should probably copy and paste the entire article in case/when/if the link is lost for good.
