Raul_Perez Posted April 17, 2011 Author Posted April 17, 2011 looking good!!! i never have seen one of those. i like it! Thanks, Jim. For the early 50s, this thing looked like it was from outer space!! Awesome job!!! Thanks, Clay! Now I've got to spend a couple of hours with my trusty X-Acto and a sheet of BMF. Later,
Bernard Kron Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 (edited) Howzit comin", RP? Can't wait to see the red interior and "gills" against that metallic gray... Edited May 22, 2011 by gbk1
sjordan2 Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 This is why I think modelers should post "On the Workbench" AFTER they've worked on a build journal and not do it in real time. It's really frustrating to get into a build and see it abandoned.
jbwelda Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 raul hasnt been around in a while i think. i hope hes ok...hey raul if youre out there take another pic of the B.A.T.!
curt raitz Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Raul is just fine...sometimes "life" gets in the way of model building He has been busy selling a big chunk of his diecast collection on eBay and started playing with his N-gauge trains again He will be finishing the Alfa Batmobile before the NNL West in February, so he has told me and Bernard.
Bernard Kron Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Raul's real close to done. We should be seeing something soon enough, I think... It most certainly hasn't been abandoned.
Ira Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Nice Paint!!! Looks like a Great kit, love the design!
Raul_Perez Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Yeah...like Curt said, I've been busy with several other projects and family "stuff", but I finally got back to this one over the weekend. The paint is polished, the BMF is done and I've painted the interior parts to match some really good interior pics I found online. I've got a little bit of detailing to do on the seats and the door panels before I button this one up and post it "Under Glass". I'll get a couple of pics posted later this week before the body gets glued to the chassis pan. Later,
