1320wayne Posted March 12, 2011 Author Posted March 12, 2011 (edited) Here is a little more. I created a bomber seat out of a pair of racing seats that I had in the parts box. In the second pic. the seat on the right is what I started with. I also got the dist. and plug wires in place and added a bit of dry brushing to tone down the brightness in the chrome. Jon Cole Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 I am really enjoying this build! The rad roof rake, the fatties out back, and a Cad up front all make for a wicked ride!
walt francis Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I am really enjoying watching this come together.
tylersloan Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 could you imagine driving this thing the visor on the front and the carb stacks man you would have to lean your head out the window to see the stop lights change and go deaf from the wicked headers .
Chuck Most Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Wow... all the big guns are building rats nowadays. I might have to hang it up!
1320wayne Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 Making progress on the interior. Styrene sheet floorboard with parts box battey and fuel cell. I also got the radiator shell done with added screen mesh from Protech.
Jantrix Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Is it just the chop that is making the seats look too large? Nice work Wayne. I really dig the engine.
1320wayne Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 Is it just the chop that is making the seats look too large? Nice work Wayne. I really dig the engine. It's how low the body sits on the chassis that is placing the seats so high inside. It's the only way I could get the desired effect.
LAone Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 great looking rat. i like the idea of the bomber seats.
