BHarrison Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Another great show like I had remembered from years before. A great place to have the show as well as a great host hotel. TONS of nice models and vendors too. It was great to see you guys (Tim, Trae, Tommy and other members whose names I've forgotten)you have a really great club. Everyone who can needs to attend this show next year. Its well worth the travel! Now..gotta get in gear and have something new for next year! BH

Zoom Zoom Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Bob do you have a list of winners? Nope; I was just visiting...Tim Kolankiewicz should have that list.
mikemodeler Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Thanks for posting Bob, those are some nice models and the 1:1 cars were nice to see as well. I really liked that black 55 Chevy and the black 66 El Camino, those paint jobs were spectacular and the details & chrome were beautiful.
Foxer Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 (edited) That's one pile of unique builds. My eyes hurt from the reflections! This was my favorite engine: Edited March 22, 2011 by Foxer
Trae Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 This was my favorite engine: http://images18.fotki.com/v674/photos/6/498566/9596312/IMG_8073-vi.jpg That one was built by Tommy May. I told him the squirrel was running the wrong direction. But he corrected me ... the car is actually in reverse.
Jantrix Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 I've had one of my builds there during the Great Post-Apocalyptic Convoy but I've never been in person. It's the closest NNL level event to me here in Tampa. Maybe someday. Thanks for the pics.

BHarrison Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Great talking with you, Bryan. And, man, you're builds were outstanding! I'm sure we'll bump into each other again soon. Thanks for the compliments Trae, your Vette was super cool. I sent Tim K and Tinman an email detailing the events of the week, we had a really tough set of circumstances, prior to the show do you know if he got it? If he did I meant for him to share it with the members down there. The show was a great pick me up for a bum week.

Not a member of their club, and I haven't talked with them all week, so I really don't know if they got your message.
