Danno
Oh, man, Brad! Chris FINISHED this model and posted the 'under glass' pictures last night . . . apparently just before the board went down! {Maybe that's the trauma that caused the loss of all those posts!} Sorry you missed it! Mooneyzs
well Hmmm I must of missed the memo that the car was finished.... lol. It looks like I lost photos of my latest updates I posted 2 days ago with getting primer on the fittings and shut off valve.... Strange.... hmm
Ira
Looks like many of mine are missing too! Starting from the 25th of November... Edited December 10, 2014 by Ira
Mooneyzs
Ira.... you are right... think everyone lost stuff. Well fellas I will have to upload the pics that was lost. On another note I have been working on the blower sanding and prepping it as well as gluing the pieces together. I finished the sanding last night and got some primer on it and have to say it is looking good. I now need to sand it with some finer paper then add another light coat or two of primer and then it will be ready for paint. Mooneyzs
Brad... Its been good to get some bench time in, although I didn't get as much as I was hoping this week but I will be working on it tomorrow and Sunday. So hopefully I make some great progress on it this weekend.
Mooneyzs
Well Guys.... since the forum lost some pics I am gonna re-post some of those pics as well as a few others. So I started out with some Machined Aluminum Specialties and Detail Master photo-etch pieces that I am going to use to create my shut off valve lever: Here are the pieces glued together: Here is the Shut off Valve, Tee Fittings and Shut off Valve lever in primer: Another view of it: Here it is placed on the engine:
Mooneyzs
Here I have sanded the blower down, smoothing it all out and it is ready to be glued together using CA glue: Here is the blower all glued together: And now I got some primer shot on the blower, feels good to have it at this point: Opposite side: Side view:
Mooneyzs
And it wouldn't be me if I didn't show a few pics with things all mocked up:

That's just genius Joe. I would also like to see this because mere words aren't enough and all of the useable words have been used throughout this entire thread. 'Explative' progress on this 'explative' build Chris. Glad to see your updates and trying to be patient for more.
