N~8~Ball Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Hey Gang, I was wondering what ever came of the Model Cars Magazine coffee mugs that were pictured in one of the past issues? I wouldn't mind ordering a couple mugs for myself. I hope haven't missed the chance to buy them. Thanks Nate
Gregg Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I should have them in time for GSL. It's just the shipping them to Hawaii makes them too expensive, so if I can have them sent to me at a show, then I can bring them back on the plane, and hopefully sell a whole bunch at the show. Once they are back here then can sell them online. Thanks for the interest. There should be more MCM goodies soon as well. I did get a new batch of X-Large and XX-Large MCM Black T-Shirts. They now have the newer MCM logo on the left chest area. $17 plus $3 for shipping.
crazyjim Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 How about an insulated plastic cup with about 12oz capacity? I need to replace my cup that holds my RC Cola. What other goodies you planning? Don't want/need a jacket and already have a T-shirt.

LAone Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 hey greg, where would i send payment for a xxl t-shirt??
jbwelda Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 a shot glass is an excellent idea (thats from a more or less non-drinker mind you). not only can it be used for its intended function, it can be used as a paint mixing glass, a thinner container for short term on-the-table use, maybe a brush holder if its deep enough, all kinds of modelling applications. and with a mcm logo it would be a killer. hes right, a million dollar idea. i want one of those coffee mugs too, but probably wont be at SLC unfortunately.
Gregg Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 email me and I can send a PayPal invoice. I will try to do new pictures tonight of the shirts. Cafe Press' profit margin is way too small. It's not worth it for me to do that way.
seeker589 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Mugs, T-shirts and Shot Glasses - OH MY! I would love some MCM swag! I recommend a store on the website. You could do hats, too.
Greg Cullinan Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 I still dont know how much the mugs are? How much you got?
von Zipper Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Could you make a "Model Car Magazine" issued kit(s)??, Maybe some cool-out of production kits the way the Model King did a while back, or the black/white box kit of the 1970 Ford by Hobby Heaven. Maybe some current kits by Revell or AMT as the MCM Issue the way they did the Boyd Cottington kits? just thinking with my fingers...
seeker589 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 A store on the web-site is a capitol idea. A great way to make some Capitol! Ba-dump-bump!
