Terry Sumner Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Very nice! How about detailing for the forum members all the exact steps you took to arrive at that very well done paint job?
W-409 Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Great job! That paint looks amazing, it's very smooth. Color fits nicely to this body too. Clean build, there are no any big mistakes, I like it. That engine is also great, so nice job that I hardly can believe that it is box stock... Amazing build !
Mr. Moparman Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Good job! Very smooth, clean build. Keep it up!
VisVos Posted April 20, 2011 Author Posted April 20, 2011 How about detailing for the forum members all the exact steps you took to arrive at that very well done paint job? sure body prep tooth brush and tooth paste until the body is dull in hot water ( no too hot so it burns you) after its dry. i use tamiya spay that sat in in hot tap water for few minutes. one light coat followed by 3 heavier coats. let it dry for an hour or so and follow with tamiya clear 4 coats. Let it dry for 2 days and polished it with No7 clear polish and carnuba wax on top
