sjordan2 Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Your work always defies comparison (or description). It's like Salvador Dali taking a classic painting and doing his own spin on it. Great stuff.
Chuck Most Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Wow! It's amazing you got this kit to actually fit together properly, much less come up with an end result this cool! If H.R. Giger and David Aronson built models, I'd bet they'd resemble this one.
Dr. Cranky Posted April 22, 2011 Author Posted April 22, 2011 Thanks, Count Chocula! And all the CRANKYHEADS out there. You keep the inspiration a-rockin' and a-rollin' on this forum. If it weren't for the daily eye-candy allowance Our Good Doctor would have to go see a real DOCTOR!
zelkam Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 It is a work of art, beautiful painting! why the wheels have filled with a white disk?
Danno Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Well! That's wild. Impressive ... although busy ... paint job!
Dr. Cranky Posted April 23, 2011 Author Posted April 23, 2011 Thanks, everyone. Jean-Jacques, they are dust and dirt gards they use in the States in these kinds of wheels to keep grime off the chrome . . . I think . . .
Dr. Cranky Posted April 24, 2011 Author Posted April 24, 2011 Thanks, Tony T., the Lab-RAT-ory is A-CRANKING!

Dr. Cranky Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 Thanks, Albert . . . lately I've been thinking that these boat-sized cars are perfect for all sorts of graphics . . . etc . . .
David G. Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I missed this one the first time through. You, sir, are an artist with the air brush! Another very cool project. David G.
CEKPETHO BCE Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 That's awesome. Loving the interior among many other things
Harold Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 How the heck did I miss this masterpiece? I'll agree with the chassis issues, and they all involve the exhaust. I finally had to disassemble the whole frame and start by adding the front section of the exhaust pipes first. Then I was able to get the stupid things to line up with the exhaust manifolds after I installed the engine. Then I was able to add the front suspension. Those windows were a pain to fit in also. I love that paint job, Doc.
deathskull59 Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 i really like the the car. the gothic paint job its very cool. but i dont like those big rims. nice car though.
