crazyjim Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Oh no. Another builder going to the dark side. Chrome and shiny paint rules!
Chuck Most Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Looks like the door hinge pins are a little worn out. Seriously, though- Love it!
Harry P. Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 thanks..Dr crank-man...many more coming sooooon...im in a ratrod rut... ruh roh...
Mercman Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Looks good. yeah the good Dr. is a bad influence. One observation though, use your X-Acto to ream out the stacks at the top to thin the walls just a bit.
Dr. Cranky Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 LOL! You know what DOCTOR CRANKY would say, right? LONG LIVE RUST!
David G. Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Looks like the "Before and After" pics are reversed. Seriously, though- an excellent restoration. BTW: The real world supports Shabby and Shiny, Beauties and Beaters as well as Rusters and Racers; so do I! David G.
Jantrix Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Where did you get the headlights? The local grocery store. He just spray painted a couple of olives. Great work, very ratty. Also this looks like the AMT/Lindberg kit which would make this a '34 not a '32.
crazyjim Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 The grill shell looks '35 Auburn. I don't think Auburn made trucks, though. Parts from all over the place - that helps make it rat rod - Right?
MikeeD Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 You gotta love rust...it's cheaper than chrome and lighter than fiberglass...
