I'll be house sitting for a week for a friend and needed a out of the box project.

Since I'm away from home,I'll be using my Phone camera and hoping for the best.

I plan to do it same color as the box since that is what paint I brought with me.

Had to switch PCs at my friends house One is a PC with windows and the other one is a Macbook.

my first time using a Mac, takes a while to get the hang of things.

Be working on the interior tomorrow and gotta figure how i'm gonna do the body.

Every time I spray paint, I gotta run downstairs and out the back door and the wind aint helpin

Can't wait to get back to my own place Friday.

Weathered up the chassis so I could install the frame but I think I'm gonna put a Lil 3"inch body lift on it.

Got the first color on and will probley give it a good day before I mask off and do the lower half in Med Gray.

Looks good so far I wish i could get my kits out of storage miss working on models

I have a few but no tools to work with. every time i try to do something with the knife

i have i cut myself and say thats iI quit for a while.

Nice uild keep posting the pics I cannot wait to see it done and the lift kit sounds cool

i wish they would make kits cheaper and sell them in more places.

Of course I ended up bringing along a dozen cans of paint too

I got the interior in and front bumper painted the trim color.

That is looking good. I love those times when you've got nothing to have to do but build. It's like being young again. No responsibilities. Those times are few and far between now.

Thanks, the hard part for me is gonna be doing the bottom Gray half, Ugh..

I did manage to get about a 3"inch bodylift bolted on and almost ran out of bolt.

THey were just long enough but I can't use a Nut.

I just used Craft store Square Silver Vertical Beads that measured 6mm square, or just under 1/4".

Just install between frame body mount and floor body mount.

Kittahs and House sitting for 5 long days with out cable TV near the PC.

But I got the complete series of Brisco County Jr keepin my entertained

It's been a hard few days already but i'm keepin busy building.

2 more days and I'll be back home startin projects and using my Pace spray booth I haven't had chance

to test out yet.

I did a quickie paint job on my Faux Runner and it went the way of the dogs.

Strip it or use a stock body I've been playing with to speed it up.

I was only going to be here a few weeks with out my stuff and had little room in car so I had

to leave stuff in storage. That was in July now almost year later still here with out any tools,

Paints, or glue and no money to go buy any besides i do not know if there is a place to but

it in this town.

Build looks great and thanks for telling me how to do a scale lift kit I will have to try it out when

I get a good pickup or even on my Post Apocalyptic El Camino project.

Interior Pics

I use a Textured paint for the seats and carpet and light gray for the rest.

Pics of the body lift and blocks.

I cut out the front sidewindows, When We Wheel, we have the side windows down

And the roof rack, looks like I gotta fix it tho.

Looking good, where do you get the nuts and bolts

LHS should have them in the Train section.

Sizes are 00-90x1/8inch and goes up to 1/2" long

Just don't forget the Lil Nut Driver.
