Pete, not to be picky, cause it IS comming out nice, But WHY are your heater hoses comming out from the center of the firewall? ALL modern Chevy's have the heater core located on the left side of the firewall, (as you look at the engine). Yours seems to be off set to the right of the engine. No big thing, but your reference photo's should have shown you this. Like I said, it IS comming out nice, but that stood right out to me. Maybe just cause Im a Chevy guy. Your comming along just fine!B);)

Cheers for the comment George, i know i had a real one , but cant for the life of me picture the engine bay, and the ref pics i have are sparse in the case of the engine bay, i know there are a few things that are very wrong with my build lol, but i have ltd parts bin, as i normaly build euro kits, and my knowledge is ltd on american cars, so i appologise in advance for my crude detailing ;) , all coments good or bad , and even pointers gratefuly received though B)

Pete, looking back at your in process pics, the firewall pic you show, that rectangular box on the right houses the heater core and HVAC components. The hoses for the core should be comming out of the left edge of that box. and go to their proper fittings on the engine. Don't mean to be so picky, but after all this work, I just feel it should be done right.Your doin a GREAT job,Pete, this is just MY means nuthin opinion. Please don't be offended.B);)

Whoa!!! Pete, I NEVER even noticed your not even from here!!!! You guys over in Europe REALLY got you stuff TOGETHER! Ok, so that explains your non familiarity with Chevy's. At least OUR chevy's. It's really only constructive critism caz your building skills are VERY good.B);)

Looking good and a cool build being you HAD one over there!

Looks like you didn't have to make the dash right-hand drive at least. B) It had to be weird driving that over there. When I visited England long ago, I left the VW in Calais to avoid driving on the "wrong" side of the road. ;)

Cheers, it was a nightmare as the car was sooooooo wide compared to UK cars , i had to have someone sitting on the right hand side to tell me if it was safe to overtake , which the kickdown worked realy well when she opend up and thunerd past lol ;)

The 250 was a rarity in the full-sized Chevy by 1970, so this is definitely an interesting build from that perspective.

You're doing a very nice job with this Peter, and I'll enjoy seeing more of it.
