Hi this is a project for a competition with pre 1940 and european make.

I got a 1935 Mercedes 500K along with some other bodies in a box from a friend.

Thought i could make it a Gasser look a like.

Here is where i`m at the moment

Great project, Gassers are really great subject. Using a Mercedes body is great idea, that's something really rare in Drag Racing... Engine fits nicely, and I like the rear tires, but those front tires are too small, I think. It would look better with higher profile front tires, I think, that those are way too small. Tires and wheels are from a dragster kit now? But anyway, it's a great project, I'll be watching it very surely. :)

I have painted the frame with red transparent over silver. stipes (0,5mm)is masked directly on the white primer. Going to start mask up the body tonight.
