New documentary out today in major markets (not here in Knoxville) on the career of legendary F1 driver Ayrton Senna. Rave reviews everywhere, winner of Best Documentary at the Sundance Festival and British equivalent of Oscars. Motor Trend says it's the best super hero movie of the year. Some clips available on YouTube.

Check movie trailers at Quicktime:

LA Times review and clips here:

Another quote from Motor Trend:

"The movie is uplifting and crushing, and though it isn't typical Hollywood, it may be the best film about racing ever made."

Ugh, I'll never understand why "Eleanor" Mustangs are so popular. Anyway, pay no attention to the questionable body work on this RX-7, just listen.

Ugh, different strokes for different folks????? There is a joke with in that video.... that rx7 sounds awesome!

i see two different strokes here, a piston one and a rotor one.....

a 4 rotor engine is a lot harder to get and be able to drive on the streets in the US than it would a eleanor mustang.

dont know about everyone else, but im an ALL kind of car guy. :(

Look up the Roadkill Series on YouTube that's found under Motor Trend's channel. Two of the guys from Hot Rod Magazine do Top Gear like challenges, usually involving rusty, ratty American Iron and their magazine. Turns out Lamborini Aventadors and Rat Rods are equally useless, sometimes in their own special ways, sometimes in the exact same ways from their findings :P
