tiking Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 (edited) This is an old man F90 Commander Kit from Italeri which I bought on eBay for about 1.5 years ago. Some parts were missing, especially the instructions but got help Nick(thanks Nick), who kindly scanned another version of the F90, which had more or less similar building design. I decided to deviate from the kit's original finish kit, as usual, and do something different. This building, I called the "Wrecker". This is a private owner's modification that resulted in what you see now. I still have little left to add such as, adding horns, the owner's sign and a little more 'weathering'. Hope you like the results. ___________________________________ Edited July 29, 2011 by tiking
mackinac359 Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 I like any truck that has a crane on it. Nice build. Tim
The Modeling Hermit Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 If you hadn't displayed it as you did, and if you hadn't said it was a kit, I wouldn't have been able to tell it from an actual truck. That's some excellent modeling.
tiking Posted July 30, 2011 Author Posted July 30, 2011 Thanks for looking guys. Appreciate the comments.
BigBad Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Man, this thing needs a wash, badly! It looks like it spent winter without a cleaning. Very convincing weathering! Not too much, just right. Great job!
tiking Posted July 30, 2011 Author Posted July 30, 2011 Thanks guys. Wash?!!! Nejjjj. It looks just fine.
Kostas Parchas Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Tiking Hi, One more fine detailed truck model. The weathering is amasing and the truck looks like a realy hard working mule. I saw this build on the TMW forum a few days ago and by the way I would like to say my congratulations also for the fine Daf boat mover. You should put this build also here. Kostas.
tiking Posted July 30, 2011 Author Posted July 30, 2011 Thank you Kostas for the support. Much appreciated my friend.
David G. Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Very nice work on this one. I like the weathering and the added accessories, they really make it all work. Also, did the boom arm come with that kit or from another< David G.
