Sixx Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Even-tho this was built for a slotcar, I like how it turned out
Plasticfanatic Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Then I moved on to this one. And then the latest being this one. I have many more to do but it seems like it takes for ever to complete these. These two are SUPERB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Must also say taht ALL models shown by fellow forum members are also magnificent, Inspiring thread indeed!!
Plasticfanatic Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 These are oldies...and most of them show it...but still like them very much....well most of them!!! The Glidden 1970 Mustang is not mine, it was built by a very good friend of mine...also a long time ago.
High octane Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 A "living legend" is Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick and here is a model of his '64 GTO Mystery Tornado.

High octane Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 hi there I really like this one bye the way do you have any real detail shoots of the real car would love to do this down the line. John Pol I think that I just used the photo on page 100 of the Super Stock Drag Racing The Family Sedan book by Larry Davis and I might have asked Arnie a few questions about the car as I see him a couple of times a year
1320wayne Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Wow, kudos to everybody...just some outstanding, inspirational stuff...I don't build 'em myself but I gotta' say you Pro Mod builders are particularly insane when it comes to detail. Awesome, keep 'em coming! A couple more of my comparatively less spectacular builds... Spectacular is in the eyes of the beholder and my eyes see some rather super looking builds.
Dragracer Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Sixx, really like your "Melrose Missle" 'Cuda (Polar Lights?), & the blue paint on the "Chilly Willy",Wayne's Mopar Duster looks great & Fred's Dick Landy Dart is nice, really like your Bob Glidden Fairmont Fred!
Sixx Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Hey thanks Richard!!! Yep, that was the Polar Lights ' Cuda. The decals were the " old " Whoopie Cat" decals, a major pain in the you know what!!!! Sixx
Dragracer Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Got a couple of the Whoopie Cat decals myself, Larry Arnold's "Kingfish",Bobby Woods, well,"Bobby Woods", & Randy Walls,"Randy Walls", haven't gotten around to using any of them yet, are they difficult to use?
1320wayne Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 I've worked with a few of them and had no problems at all, other than self inflicted ones.
Dragracer Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Thanks Wayne, good to know, hows the resin Camaro body coming along?
