streetisneat Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I would just like to say that every model on here is fabulous.
SuperStockAndy Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 Some real nice builds here. Any more of them?
Bernard Kron Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Haven't been checking this thread out since page 10 or so! Boy have I missed a lot.... Incredible! I really dig how the variety has opened up to span the whole range of drag cars. Here's a coupla pics of my latest, which I just finished, a late 60's Junior Fueler, (more pics here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47749 )
High octane Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 All of you guys should be proud of yourselves whether you've posted a box-stock build or one that you went "all-out" in detailling. Can you imagine seeing all of these builds on one table??? It would be totally AWESOME and mind boggling to say the least! Keep them coming!
Dragracer Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Paul, really liked you Nova, nice blue, is that the AMT "Old Pro" car? Bernard, nice digger!
1320wayne Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Very nice builds, Paul. I figured you would be good for some more superb builds to show off.
John Pol Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Here are a couple more from hobby cave. John Pol
Dragracer Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Hey , I just noticed looking at JJ's car, it looked like the rear slicks were "wrinkle-wall", looked closer, a little bit of dry-rot eh?, I had a pair (both of them) go out on ne of my old builds, I had wondered why it was sitting so low, looked closer both slicks had full rips in them. Oh well!
SuperStockAndy Posted September 10, 2011 Author Posted September 10, 2011 Gregg accidentally broke the body mount on the chassis at GSL during photography but that's OK. GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dragracer Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Paul, Congrats on having it in the Museum, that must mean alot, it is a really nice build, & as I mentioned, it makes the slicks look like a wrinkle wall, great work!
Drag Monster Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Here are a few older builds (part 1)

funhouse1 Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Drag Monster, nice builds all! Totally agree! You made my day with the 'Home Made Hell"...I've only seen one teeny little jpeg of that car, where did you find reference?
1320wayne Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Some additional awesome builds done by Daryl.
Mooneyzs Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 (edited) Here are some more of Daryl's builds. Wayne you have posted some nice builds of Daryls. Any chance that you may have pictures of the chassis's without the body on these Super Gas Roadster's. I am asking because I am planning on doing a super gas roadster build one of these days and have only been able to find minimal chassis pics when I had searched the internet so far. Thanks Edited September 13, 2011 by Mooneyzs
Dragracer Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I would have to say, that my overall favorite build of Daryl's has got to be that '58 Plymouth Fury, it's just beautiful, 2nd would have to be his Oakley Camaro.
