Dominik Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 (edited) Hallo everybody, i dont know, if i am right here for introduce myself here in "General"-Topic? If not - rookiefault. My name ist Dominik and i am living near Wuerzburg at the river called main. Going stright ahead up to my 40th birthday and found back to modeling last year, when i was sick. what i am building? I love the american cars! Specially the 60s and 70s i am working on. If a model is telling a story, i build them a dioramabase too. My collection of meodelcars are about 150 built, 25 unbuilt kits and about 20 Dioramas. Most of the models are older builts, wich i restore from time to time. i hope, i can give some ideas to you and be a oart of this forum. why i choose this one? Now, i was just looking "overseas" at more boards, but i think, this one is one of the populare board and i also think, there is more going like in other ones. At last, one words to myself again: i hope, my writing is not so bad, that you can't follow my words. thats another point, i signed in: to teach your speach for a good partnership. Thats it. looking forward for anything that will come up - to be a part of you. Kind regards, Dominik Edit: forgot something important. I am a soldier in the german army since 1992 and i am "profi" - that means, i get retired in 2027. Edited August 18, 2011 by Dominik

Romell R Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Welcome aboard Dominik we look forward to seeing your builds. And don't worry about your English you write better than some who speak and write English naturally. LOL! (well at least on this forum)
Foxer Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Welcome, Dominik. I know Wuerzburg slightly as we used to drive through it on our way to a field site when I was stationed in Neckarsulm many years ago in the US Army. A beautiful country for sure. With 150 built models, you'll have to give us a treat and show some!
Nitrozilla Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Welcome Dominik. I would love to return to Germany. I lived in Aschaffenburg for 6 years and you're just a quick trip down E41. Feel free to jump in, you're in good company.

Dominik Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 (edited) Thank you very much for your "welcome" words - Thank you! my companie has a partnership with the US army in Bamberg. I love it! we make lot of events and when i talk to them, most say, that they wil stay here too. Thats interesting for me. If i could, i would stay in the States... Sure, i will post some models from time to time. I'm just looking, how it works here. To load images...all new for me... A test to load a image from a model... Iit works! What is the maximum allowed size for pictures? Edited August 18, 2011 by Dominik

LAone Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 welcome to the forum dominik. thats a great looking wagon, well atleast the back end.. the posted pic size should be 800x600 or slightly smaller, but not too small. if you use photobucket, it should automatically make it 800x600
