Hi Guys!!

This is my latest model kit .,i've been working on it for around two years and it took to me a lot of effort to build it

all the chassis was welded ,filled ,sanded ,primed and painted with automotive paints.,Scalefinishes.com supplied the correct paints for the chassis and body .,i fabricated some scratchbuilt parts such as the instrument panel made from styrene and the screws are from Hobby design.,

This kit is a reissue of the original 1953 500f2 but in 1/20 scale from hiro.only 70 kits were made but you can get one by special order .The only difference is the resin body.,all those type of kits are very difficult to clean ,align and modify to fit well.

here the chassis before i start to work with

and this is the chassis complete ready to paint

Breathtaking!!! It's wonderful that kits are on offer than respond to modelers with your skill and patience. I can only imagine how rewarding it must be to get this sort of result on such a marvelous subject. Bravo!

I read in some place that Mr.Alex Kustov, an authority in Ferrari models of any period, told that its real hard to get a replace for a body from Hiro. I had contacted them in the past for small parts without any problem, but, not for some big components like bodies, you could end buying another model from them.

the email is cus@modelfactoryhiro.com

let the customer servis that you have a damaged body ,they can replace or if you want you can buy only the body directly

Nobody's here discussing who is the best or the worst in the Ferrari Modeling, because its a wide open matter that Alex "Is the man", but, is the same thing I trying to do for him that I have to add that you the luckiest man, because, I know other people that has tried it unsuccesfully, specially this model(the one his building) that as I far as I know was a limited trow 5 years ago.
