Badluck 13 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!,the six banger just makes it even cooler!!!!!!!!!!
Ron a.k.a. Grouchy Pants Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Great all around detail on that car. I'd have a hard time just getting groceries in it though, a bit of a cruise before the store would definately happen
nybuilder Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Beautiful work car looks awesome. Just would have liked to see a v-8 under the hood IMO
kingiguana Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I love everything except the wheels, I'm old school when it comes to wheels, I like a lot of sidewall. But cool build.
crazyjim Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Terrific engine details and nice SHINY :) paint. Love it.
CorvairJim Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 What a beauty! I love all the underhood details. This model inspires me to post some pix of the phantom '65 Chevelle Z16 wagon I built a few years back. It's roughly the opposite in concept to this one - This is a low-horse cruiser with appearance mods while mine is meant to look factory stock with all the go-fast goodies the factory could have equipped the car with. The body and basic interior are from one of the many reissues of the AMT '65 Chevelle wagon, while much of the remainder is from the Revellogram '65 Chevelle Z-16. I even used the front bench seat from the wagon kit (in modified form) to add a rear-facing 3rd seat, which was not available from Chevrolet in the car at all in 1965, just as a "Gotcha"! For mine to look anything like this good, I'll have to do some MAJOR work in the engine bay at the very least!
Eshaver Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I'm going to assume you sourced the 250 from maybe Tumpiteer's Nova . very period what all with an aftermarket air- cleaner . You might have done a "Black - wash "on the grille so as to define the openings on that better . Outside of that , it's a contender . Ed Shaver
MikeeD Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 LOVE all the engine detail...nice color and paint job...but I'm not altogether crazy about the wheels. But then, I'm an old school old fart, so there ya go.
