Modelbuilder Mark
Glad to see everyone's spaces. Interesting how so many of us end up with only the first few inches of the bench to actually build on! LOL
eizzle
Funny you say that, I built my desk because I needed more room, I had a very small desk to start with. It was maybe 3 sq ft? I built mine 5' x 2' and I still end up working in a 1 foot area.
Bad Apple
Here's one i been working on, 1/16 minicraft. Chopped the roof and made a new chassis and floors son i can drop it low. W-409
Heh, it's actually not from the Doctor. It says Rust Racing Support on it, a Finnish Drag Race team that races with '26 Ford T and a HD Dragbike which runs 9,1 ETs, if it doesn't do a giant wheelstand at the start. Last year, they had also '28 Ford Funny Car. On 2013 Finals, they organized a Pork Barbecue-party for all Team Members and Drivers in the pits. Here's a picture (Not mine) http://kuvia.1g.fi/kuvat/Tapahtumat+2013/FHRA/FhraEdra+Finals/MOP_4364.jpg Oh, and here is their Tow Vehicle for the bike: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8u4_o_58dA Edited September 29, 2013 by W-

W-409
Thanks, yeah, it is a great place, only time when I need to put the bench light on is when it's dark, and now I haven't used it on whole summer, because Finnish nights are not that dark. The little door is for a fresh air from outside. Better to keep it shut in the winter so I don't freeze...
JamesW
Here's mine (ours). Left side is mine, right side belongs to a buddy. It's 8' long x 2' deep.

crazyjim
Nice, clean, and organized but you might want to move your beverage further away before it gets knocked over.

Great place to get fresh air in the summer and keep a beer handy in the winter!
LokisTyro
I started clean-up to get the bench ready for the take-a-turn build coming in. I use a Singer sewing machine cabinet/desk for various work. The sewing machine still works and folds up if I need to do any repairs or make something but it doesn't leave much room for knees... Repstock
This is it. The most important tool is the glasses. That little box under the Mustang pictures contains a ventilation fan that has been on continuously for over 21 years! Ramfins59
Sean, I so LOVE your basement area. Once my daughter gets married and moves out of my basement (hopefully next November) I can turn my basement into something similar.

Custom Mike
Here's my basement man-cave. I'm now the official head of the Sean Haters Club! That is awesome Sean, I would never leave the cave if I had something like that, just gimme a bed, bathroom and fridge with a microwave and I'm there for life!
