SuperStockAndy Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Please excuse the mess, I was too lazy to clean mine up first LOL Whole bench: Paint storage: Acrylic paints with water: Paint cans:
gunner Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I recently moved into my house and still trying to get it organized.
Tony-442 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) I've posted these in another part of the forum, but thought I'd share here as well. This is my space, which is part of our home office. It's a computer work station that you can close up to hide the mess, so that everything blends in the room. I have storage for my kits downstairs in our storage area. We turned the basement into an apartment, so this is the only area I have to work in. I like it, hope you guys do. Greg Pugh Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Some of your guys' setups are crazy! I would do anything to have an area like that!! I just got a nice desk for the first time but it's hardly picture worthy.
Mick5s Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 What do your Workbenches look like? Post a picture of where YOU work on your models and check out other people's too!
JunkPile Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Mick, check out Workbench Saturdays on this site. Lots of pages of 'em
Mick5s Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Agh. Im new to this forum so I didn't know this already existed. I have seen it on other forums and it's quite popular! Alright then, never mind!
Dr. Cranky Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Funny you should ask, I just made a video of it about Spring Cleaning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnieFvdRyr4.
Mick5s Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Dr. Cranky! I didn't know you were on this forum! I had just PM'd you on YouTube the other day about if I got the process for salting correct. Thanks again. Great video as always
hotrodblder Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 (edited) This is where all of my 'masterpieces' are created. Edited April 2, 2012 by hotrodblder
Inky Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 This is my work desk, it is clean here but it has known to get cluttered.

Guest Johnny Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Whats going on with that Healy ? He's taking on one that I chickened out on!
Wagoneer81 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Whats going on with that Healy ? Looks like one of those old, multi-piece bodys... kind of a pain to build but they look pretty darn good if you do 'em right. Ed, your bench looks a lot like mine. Creativity is definitely NOT a pretty site! Any chance of getting to see that Healy when it's finished?
Mercman Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Here's mine in a rare pic, it's clean. However if I took a current pic it would be buried with 5 projects. Main Bench Paint area Dio area where I do my plaster, and base prep. The rest can be seen here at the link. http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a2/mercman51/Bench/ Not shown here are the reference library, storage areas, and shelves with future projects. Also my saws, ans drill press.
Mick5s Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Paul and Mercman; where did you guys get those slim shelves that your paints are on? I have been looking for them and was thinking about just building some.

2whl Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Paul and Mercman; where did you guys get those slim shelves that your paints are on? I have been looking for them and was thinking about just building some. I built it out of a piece of scrap pressboard a friend gave to me. I started by using the paints as a guide for shelf height and went from there. Here's a closer look
Qwit Pushin Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 There's a sign above the door that says, "Mike's Happy Place."
