Bastardo
Another quickie project is finished The basic idea was to combine these elements: and Color combo: and Let's just say the car's been heavilly modiffied and most of the add-ons are scratchbuilt The weathering was done with Tamiya acrilic paints, hair spray and dry pigments (MiG and CMK). I made no WIP shots, but here are the shots of the finished thing:

Dr. Cranky
Oh yeah, that's the kind of build I love. EYEGORE is doing circles around his fire hydrant. Excellent weathering techniques. Now you must share other builds you have. Keep the eye candy coming.

Erik Smith
Ho hum! Just another Japanese mini car painted like an old fighter plane and heavily weathered and modified to look like some insane person drives it like a maniac around the countryside. Wink nod. Very cool! Edited October 11, 2011 by Coyotehybrids
RodneyBad
It may not be the pertiest ride on the road but it looks like it has some Very Hard miles on it.. Weathering looks great Busted lights with Off Road light replacements. Battery on Roof rack (really? shouldn't the Post Cable be bigger for the length? ) Nice exhaust and towhooks. Very Cool and very Unique..

Virgil: The next project starts tonight It might not be as insane as this one, but it will be a test bunny for new weathering methods Rodney: I'll think about replacing the cable... Bastardo
Hyeah, it does seem to have a lil' identity crisis... Thanx, m8
seeker589
I love it! Great concept and execution. Not so sure a heavy object like a battery on the roof is too safe and it defeats the "lower center of gravity" guideline for a race car - but it sure makes it interesting! Bastardo
Thanx, guys! Tim: Agree, but it is a rat-rod, so stupid things like that figure George: I have no idea, m8... :/ I got them babies a few years ago from a fellow modeller and this was one of the ways to (ab)use them
