Goldminer Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Not something I'm ever likely to see 'in the flesh' but very nice indeed... I like the fact the headlights are a separate 'chromed' piece, will look more realistic at the end.
hooknladderno1 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) Maybe I can make up a Workstar out of this one! Got new project in mind! Charlie, I'm with you! I look forward to the Prostar release! A Workstar conversion kit would be great too! I can just pickture a tanker/tender or heavy rescue on either chassis... lapazleo Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Lookin good but is going to need a little more wheelbase. Thanks Dave keep em coming.
Chuck Most Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Maybe I can make up a Workstar out of this one! Got new project in mind! This or the LoneStar- the cabs are the same on pretty much all of the modern International trucks. I've been toying with the thought of converting one into a WorkStar or TerraStar.
Jim B Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I'm thinking there is going to be a purchase in my near future!
Dave Metzner Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 (edited) Here are some shots of ProStar test shots - Unpainted one is a quickie to see if everything fits - the painted one is a work in progress its for display Thanks for looking, Dave Edited August 23, 2012 by Dave Metzner

BigBad Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Oh yes! And it looks SPOT-ON! Very nice. It's gonna look great in any color, even brown or beige! OOooo, brown AND beige!
Ben Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 I can't get over how a model company that has never made truck kits before can come out with some that are far superior to any other truck kit that has ever been produced??????? Even the Revell kits, when they came out were great kits but they still had lots of inaccuracies and things that could have been done so much better. Why Moebius, why couldn't you have started producing kits yeeeaaars ago! LOL
Jim B Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Looks great, Dave. Any idea that company logos will be on the decal sheet? Will Moebous be offering decals similar to the Revell of Germany LoneStar kit or the Moebius LoneStar kit?
Dave Metzner Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 Decals not determined yet.. I suppose that I ought to figure that out pretty soon...Have a couple things in mind though.. Dave
martinfan5 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Dave, thanks for the update, the Prostar is looking very nice, cant wait for this one
