Dr. Cranky Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Frank, is there a donor car you can think of right of the top of your head to achieve that look?

Guest Sickfish Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Rob, I know he posted the pictures of what came in the kit with the old box. I'm talking about the new kit when it comes out. If I get my hands on it soon, I will post pictures of it. Just curious to find out what will be different in terms of chrome parts and plastic sprues. Ummmm... Yeh pretty sure it ain't gunna be a new tooling Dr.C... It'll be the same kit... ;-) & it doe's come with the Spyder roof... Cheers Cliffo

About the only change normally between a RoG box and a Revell US version are the license plate decals. Edited February 13, 2012 by Rob Hall
Dr. Cranky Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Well, that's good to know, that means it's going to be another great kit to have around and build to change it up a little bit.
Dr. Cranky Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 It's out and I need to get a couple of copies. I love the futuristic look of it.
cruz Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I will be building one for a club member soon, I absolutely love the kit so far, looks very cool. I have only prepped the body for paint but after looking at the parts and other things in the box, I was pretty impressed with how cool I think it will turn out! Jim N Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I built the kit that was probably the predecessor to yours. It went together real well. The chassis plate was flimsy on the kit I built and prone to warping.
vwdave92 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I've done three of the hardtops... can't be all the different... goes together pretty smooth and looks nice on the shelf

jaydar Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 one thing is that you need to be extremely careful puttnig it back in to the Revell Germany box, if that is the version you have. The window frame is easy to deform. joe.

The window frame is easy to deform. That's ok though if you get the Revell N.A. boxed version the entire body will be warped like a wrung out washcloth...
