Swifster Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I like classic rock as much as the next old guy , if I'm 'playing' with a model (or baseball cards) I like something a little more soothing like smooth jazz. This is Four Play with Michael McDonald on vocals...
Chuck Most Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Megadeth- Symphony of Destruction. Pretty much fits in with whatever I'm doing at the workbench at any given moment.
SuperStockAndy Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I like classic rock as much as the next old guy Hey I'm 13

Swifster Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Hey I'm 13 I'm glad you got a head start on the classics. I have friends on mine who swear 1989 was the greatest year in the history of music.

I thank my parents for saving me from this thing called modern music. You couldn't pay me to listen to a modern song...
Tom Setzer Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I like to play some Blues, or Classic R&B, when I'm working on my cars!
Nova-ss Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Sounds like great music to me.I love classic rock,I choose music to listin to based on how I feel.I couldn't choose a list cause I have so many I love to listen to.I've mixed music for live bands sense I was 14 teen years old, some famous some not.I have a hardrive Archos that is 380 gig and its all music on MP3 Files.....so I have no favs.Thank you,Chris
Captain Obvious Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I'm usually not at the workbench long enough to stay and listen to anything...lol...I tend to just do quick little painting or assembly tasks while I'm in the basement for other things, such as laundry or getting something outta the fridge. But when I do stay for a while, I like to listen to Dream Theater's "Metropolis Part II: Scenes From a Memory".
Nitrozilla Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Anything by: Pink Floyd Billy Joel Doobie Bros Allman Bros Genesis and / or Phil Collins David Arkenstone Moody Blues Electric Light Orchestra Allen Parsons Project Chicago Boston Emerson,Lake & Palmer Journey Peter Frampton The Police plus movie soundtracks that do not put my manliness in question: Star Trek Star Wars Lion King
Lunajammer Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I'm with you Bat with Moody Blues and Parsons. They'll aways be on my A-list. The rest of your list is on my sentimental B-list. I've kind of moved on to selected and obscure new stuff. BTW, at the risk of nerding up this thread, if you haven't heard your local pops symphony play the theme to Star Trek TNG live then you don't know what you're missing.
Jeff Johnston Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I build to the sound of the TV. I used to watch (actually listen) to a lot of Forensic Files, etc on True TV after 8:00 pm. Now all they have are those stupid most dumbest shows, which I can't stand. So now its mostly Discovery, A&E or History channel.

But that reminds me, I forgot to put Peter Frampton on my list!
