Olskoolrodder Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Well, this one didn't turn out as my best work, but wasn't really intended to be,just a quick build to get one fnished,LOL! It has a big old glue-booger (thanks Nick,LOL,my son ),and th chassis-to-body fit leaves lots to be desired (I'll go back later an tweak it,anxious to get on something else right now). I owned the 1:1 back in the mid 90's (one of at least 3 Daytona Turbo's or Z'z I've owned, the least modded of the bunch). here she is. Thanks for looking
whale392 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I see you finished her up, Stephen! I like the end result, it will look good displayed.
Olskoolrodder Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 Thanks Now I must figure how and where to display builts in the new house...my 24 model display case melted in the old house,LOL! Guess what I'll be buying after the holidays
Joe Handley Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Looks good, I see that one also has the Distributor splash guard molded on too.
RodneyBad Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Great looking Build. I really liked these cars when they first came out. till I found out they were a bit small for me.
Olskoolrodder Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 Thanks Rodney. I liked em too,I wouldn't mind owning a clean '85-85 CS Turbo Z o '89-'90 Shelby Z now to drive daily,saving miles on my Mustang...they'd make fr a fun,cool ol sporty-ride,wouldn't they?
wraith Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I like it! I have 4 of these kits waiting to be built! One is a going to be a rebuild of one i did as a kid and 2 others are getting done like the white and red ones form the movie "The Wraith". 4th one will be box stock.....I think! lol!

Danno Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Nice. And, that's something you don't see every day ... in either scale (1/25 or 1/1).
Olskoolrodder Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 Thanks,and LOL,you're right there! I see a '89 on occasion around town,and an '86 Burgundy\Silver Z car today at the mall,so they're out there...just not in spades
