W-409 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Looking very good, your projects are always very interesting, and they give lots of inspiration to continue my own builds too. Great job with the Lenco, engine looks very good too. One question: When you glue the engine on the frame? I've been thinking that for a while, when it is best time to install?
1320wayne Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Detail is looking really good Tyrone. As usual with your builds.

tyrone Posted January 21, 2012 Author Posted January 21, 2012 Thanks fellas, It's a rainy nasty weekend here, which is a perfect time for working in the garage..lol...I've been working on this one last night and this morning trying to get the electronics finished up, I made some modules for the firewall, got the coil and starter on, ran a few wires out front and put the steering wheel with cord in. Thanks for looking and comments welcome...

pharr7226 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I'm taking notes Tyrone. The plumbing is awesome. I might have to come to Augusta and steal this thing off your bench. It's only a couple of hours away.
tyrone Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 (edited) Thanks fellas, I'm glad you all are enjoying it, I love this part of building these more than any other, detailing the engine, cockpit, etc compared to chassis building, I got the hole for the scoop cut out and I love the way these narrow Camaro bodies look......... thanks again... Prostreet Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Looks great Tyrone, I have a stupid question. What makes it a narrow body?
tyrone Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 Honestly Joe I was calling it because that's the way it's described on flashpointe's site , But this body looks a lot sleeker than the other ones (camaros) I have done...
Mister Twister Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 It going to be another beauty Tyrone...Are you thinking about a paint scheme yet?
tyrone Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 Thanks Darryl. seriously thinking about thiis, but I can't make up the decals...
Mister Twister Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 That paint scheme would be killer...You could paint it. I'm like you on the decals though..I don't have the equipment to produce them.
futurattraction Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) That paint scheme will knock your socks off and blast the eyeballs right out of a guy's head! Sorry for being so graphic... LOL Edited January 23, 2012 by futurattraction
