sports850
Thank's guy's , the Fujimi mini's are kerbside unfortunately and the bodies are less detailed than the Tamiya ones but still worth doing (I have another three to do yet too ) . martinfan5
I got the black on, now I am going to let sit for a week the I will do another coat of white, then I can move on to the decals
sports850
Wow , the black underneath really makes that paintjob , it looked good just red and white but the black is hot . Got some paint on the mini , still ended up with a misting of white on the boot/trunk lid Also got an odd reaction from the tape on the front right guard but hopefully both of these will polish out . martinfan5
It looks really good, what shade of green did you use?
sports850
Thank's Jonathan , it's a cheap rattle can called Brunswick Green , it's close to British Racing Green , close enough to me anyway
martinfan5
That that I was thinking, it looks a lot like British green, thats one of the few shades of green I like, the other two are sublime green, and the shade of green for money
martinfan5
I did the window trim on the R34, not all that happy with the way it came out, starting working on the decals now.

martinfan5
Jon, the tires and wheels look great, well so does the interior. Here is the start of the decal process
martinfan5
Been working on a few 458's, one of them is a glue bomb I did, so I took it apart, and here it is after being repaited, I used model master ford royal blue lacquer shot over a aluminum base coat, the body is in bad shape, the pics hide all the problems, and the paint is darker in person. No clear coat yet
maltsr
The Nissan looks great Jonathan, the decals really help - can't believe it's given you so much grief. Jon, nice work, the interior is awesome.
Scuderia
That Italia looks mean with the black wheels... Well that car just plain looks mean but you did it justice there in the recovery.
sports850
Wow , you're pumping them out Jonathan , the Nissan looks brilliant decalled and the 458's are nice and shiny
martinfan5
Thanks guys, I still have a lot more decals to apply on the nissan, I picked up the 458 thats in red to replace the glue bomb. I agree, the 458's look mean with black wheels, the both will look a little meaner when I am done. I work better, and get results when I work on more then project at a time. Haubenschild
Those 458's have some slick paintjobs! I'll have an update on the Countach when I get clear coat
martinfan5
Here is a little update, got the glass painted, this was the first time I masked and spray painted window glass, I normally just brush it , I used Tamiya semi gloss black the head lights and taillights and mesh screen have been installed And more of the decals have been put on
Scuderia
front shot loooks like its ready to chew some behind. in a good way! i like it.
martinfan5
I know, I think it has a mean look to it from the front
martinfan5
Starting a new build, why, I dont know, I still have a few to finish up. Up next is Revells release of the Audi R8 spyder, I am not really a fan of the R8, but I have kind of burned my self out with all the Ferrari builds I have been doing. I think I going to do red on this one, I like the way the R8 spyder looks in red, plus I have a can of Tamyia bright red on hand. getting ready to get the body painted , removed the mold lines, which werent that bad. Scuderia
Not a fan at all of the spyder look of that car. But I reckon you will do it nicely and make it look good.

I agree, well with both, hard top and convert, just something about the R8, I paid $9.99 for it, I was the only person who bid on it,and shipping was cheap. I am happy to say that the R34 PSN is all done, I will have some pics up soon Edited June 24, 2012 by martinfan5
