sjordan2 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 (edited) Amazing. Perfect job on creating the wheel weights. Where did the tires come from? They're not from the kit. Edited December 15, 2011 by sjordan2

John Teresi Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 Amazing. Perfect job on creating the wheel weights. Where did the tires come from? They're not from the kit. Skip.....the tire`s that came with this kit were so twisted and deformed and un-fixable........when I bought this used and partly painted and assembled kit .........I did not notice the deformed tires....... I could not use them....... so it sat for a long time.......then last year I won a raffle .........a 1/9 scale Revell Zundapp KS 750 Mit Beiwagen with sidecar.......so I used the tire`s from this kit.......I had to use something?.......it probably would have taken along time to find the original Bently tires........so I used what I had........I will use the messed up Bently tires for the Zundapp bike and make it a rusted old bike.......thank`s.
Nitrozilla Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Gotta luv it when a plan comes together, especially when you didn't know it WAS a plan to begin with !! That was easy to respond to because I just said the same thing about Ira's Triangula. lol Fortunate set of circumstances John.
GTMust Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Those Revell Zundapp tyres are a great substitute for the kit tires anyway. The tires in the kit don't fit the rims very well (at the bead and the rim) and just look........... wrong! I guess some massaging of the plastic could help the kit ones..... but this is a much better solution for a model of this quality. Excellent. Tony
