eviltwincustoms Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Just ridiculously crazy, loving the pulley assembly and that trigger wheel just pops right out on that balancer and looks like a million bucks!
Old Sprinter Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Only thing better than what you have built there is the real thing! You're amazing!!
Magic Photos Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Great work Dave as always. Detail on the block looks great. Only thing I see wrong is it isn't in 1/16th scale. LOL
Interceptor Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 As always Dave great job and wonderfull eye for detail. Keep it comin'... Mark
eviltwincustoms Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 thanks guys. mike, i guess we could put it in a 1/16 and make one heck of a zinger!! LOL!! Then it would be worth of the title "Muscle Machine"!
Magic Photos Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Dave do you cast any of your parts as you make them, for later builds?
Prostreet Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Sick work as usual Dave. Very cool to see the process.
lou s Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 (edited) that is awesome!!!! the skills of the builders on this site is like no other.....i would like to see dirtmodeler put that msd trigger wheel put on a 1/25 and 1/16 scale drag photo etch sheet.......anybody else with me? not to put him on the spot or anything Edited April 9, 2012 by lou s
pharr7226 Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Amazing, beautiful, sick... I run out of adjectives to describe your work.
jmpsebring Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 All of this transends model building. I show the altered, dragster and now this to people at work and most love it. Some just don't have enough craft to understand any design/build process. Their loss!
stump Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Amazing, beautiful, sick... I run out of adjectives to describe your work. I'm with Rick on this one Dave. What you are doing is beyond description. Totally awesome just doesn't seem to be fitting.... We await the next fascinating installment mate, keep at it.
vintagedragfan Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 (edited) doesn't get any better than that Dave! beautiful machine work! I am supposed to get my mill next week! Edited April 13, 2012 by vintagedragfan
Eliminator_ryan Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Hey Dave, nice pics there showing some blown cars. It was actually Kenny Lang's car which first caught my attension and got me started. Good luck with the build of Mike's car, I know it will be something very special... I am from winnipeg (kenny's home town) and have a lot of mutual friends that kenny has if you guys need more pics of the car I can see what i can do for you.
baddgass Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Dave the block looks great, and as all some of the best work on the forum.
eviltwincustoms Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Man Dave that is just awesome. I wish I had just half your talent, I would be dangerous! Lol... Do you mind sharing how you did the great detail of the aluminum welds? Because that is an awesome touch of detail.
Red rocket 10 Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Wow Dave outstanding work the welds are beautiful ! Good seeing in NJ NNL. Leonard
stump Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Man, that motor is ready to haze the streets already..... Another interested party to the "how did you do the welds" crew. They look so realistic Dave, great work.

This whole group has some of the best modelers in the world to share with everyone and I would like to thank them all. Dave thank you for sharing what you do, and answering any question we have. Mike
Plasticfanatic Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Superb work, the atention to detail, craftmanship and finish is out of this world!
mopar68 Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 You big scale builders are crazy! This thing is insane Incredible Dave, just incredible...
W-409 Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Well that engine looks spectacular, I really like the work, you've done for it. When you started this topic, I was sure that this is going to be something fantastic, but anyway, these pictures amaze me again and again. Great Job As Always!
Mooneyzs Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Dave... you need to really stop posting pics of the real engine you are building up man . I am speechless man, Holy Smokes that engine looks killer. I am loving the weld detail you have on there. Count me in as another that would like to know how you achieved that. It is just one beautiful engine. Please tell me it wasn't from a mini TIG welder hehe
