That 'somewhere' is exactly the point. I am looking for this conversion for years. Do you by any chance know who makes it?

For the trailer I will modify the Testors tanker, looks easy enough.

If you haven't seen this scratchbuilding/modification journal on the "Duel" Peterbilt, you might find it interesting.

Let's see:

'64 Dodge CSS pickup - in plastic, I know about the resin kit
'68 Coronet R/T or Superbee
'57/8 Ranchero, not the old Revell kit
'57 Buick
'57 Olds

I can't beleive Revell hasn't ponied up with a Deuce pickup yet.

I'll echo the calls for Revell (or anyone) to tool up a new 67-72 Chevy/GMC Pickup. That AMT one is horrible and the subject matter is fairly popular.

1.- 1964 Corvair Rampside truck

2.- 1964 Corvair Spyder

3.- 1960 Cadillac Coupe De Ville

4.- 1948 Tucker Torpedo

5.- Cobra Daytona Coupe

Not far off from the list that popped into my head after reading the original post, although the Tucker would be #1. Instead of the Caddy I thought of a '70-72 Dodge Dart, and instead of the Spyder I saw a '70-72 Olds VistaCruiser

I haven't read the entire thread but 5 I'd like to see: 1960 Chrysler 300F (Moebius?), 1956 Lincoln Premiere (both of these cars are gorgeous designs IMHO), 1957 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, Lamborghini Miura (though I know about the outstanding die casts available...) and a Series 1 Jaguar E-Type. These are my "marketable" requests lol... 1967 Buick Wildcat anyone??

Doesn't Hasegawa make a '71 Miura in 1\24.. As well as Fujimi in various scales?

Unfortunately, those resins are of debatable quality.

Why the Anglo/Germanic Fords have never been rendered as model kits is beyond me. That no Escort I and II, Capri I, Taunus/Cortina and Granada I and II (I had 14 (fourteen) of the latter) exist, is a phenomenon, that will never cease to amaze me.

You could say the same about Opel/Vauxhall. Firenza, Manta I and II, Victor/Ascona, Rekord/Carlton, Commodore/Royale/Ventora, Cresta/Viscount and KAD (Kapitän/Admiral/Diplomat).

All those cars are extremely popular on both sides of the channel and they could be kitted with LHD and RHD dashboards.

I don't even want to know what the market would be for BMC cars. Austin/Morris/MG/Vanden Plas 1100, Landcrab, small and big Farinas (Police Wolseley 6/110 anyone?), Rover P4/5/6, SD1, Trummy 2000/2500/Stag, Dolly Sprint.

Instead, the Revell AG is looking at the Tamiya catalogue to find inspiration for what to tool up next and Airfix only caters to people who think the war didn't last long enough.

14 WOW !

Its a shame that Revell AG is not Euro / Brit cars instead of some reboxed yanks !

I'd love to see some Brit kits tooled, tho some BL are better than others ! SD1, Stags, Dolly & P 5's = Yeas please ! But NO Maxi's lol

If you say BL Brit, you must say Maxi, too. We came close btw, Frog did announce a 1:24 ADO17 shortly before it folded.

Another British no brainer is the 1968-92 XJ Jag, which would be a fine seller throughout the world.

Not sure who made this, but it was a Dean Milano auction, so maybe you could contact him and ask.

Just thought of one to add. How bout a 70 Chevelle with the correct body color strip going across the front with separate top and bottom grille pieces? Seems like something I never see pointed out on here.

I would like a Tamiya or Tamiya quality 1/12 427 Cobra and I would like a Revell 1/25 Dodge 1500 Daytona pickup.

All the Chapparal cars in 1/24

that works for me.
