Lownslow Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 old johan californian i built last year, it had a styrene front axle that made it springy eventually too many people kept bouncing it till it broke . i was gonna put the star wires back on then i lost one of them and i figured it needed something that would fill the wheel wells better so i went with some hoppin hydros blvds. much happier with the result
Deathgoblin Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 The new wheels look much better with the body shape. Very cool custom!
Custom Mike Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Great work Frank, but I've gotta ask, where did you find this baby?
Joe Handley Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 huh, those wheels really work well with that model!
Casey Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 (edited) Great work Frank, but I've gotta ask, where did you find this baby? This car is visually very busy, so the simpler 5-spoke wheels definitely help, and the larger diameter matches the massiveness of the body. Edited December 29, 2011 by Casey
DumpyDan Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 This is very nice, I have had two of these for years and you have sparked some interest again. I had even forgotten I had them. Thanks, and great job I like it alot.
fastram Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 YEP! The new wheels make the car. Very nice job!
deathskull59 Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 like the wheels but not much for the car cus. i think the car looks very weird.
