old johan californian i built last year, it had a styrene front axle that made it springy eventually too many people kept bouncing it till it broke .

i was gonna put the star wires back on then i lost one of them and i figured it needed something that would fill the wheel wells better so i went with some hoppin hydros blvds. much happier with the result

Great work Frank, but I've gotta ask, where did you find this baby?

This car is visually very busy, so the simpler 5-spoke wheels definitely help, and the larger diameter matches the massiveness of the body.

This is very nice, I have had two of these for years and you have sparked some interest again. I had even forgotten I had them. Thanks, and great job I like it alot.
