Boreham Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 sweet, I like it. some interesting looking projects in the bench in the inital shot too.
Guest Johnny Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Although it appears from the grill to be a 68 ElCamino it is a really sweet build!
Tonioseven Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Terrific! I love it! I have one started but I lost steam somewhere along the way.
DumpyDan Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 BAM! HIT THAT ONE OUT OF THE PARK. That is nice, great job.
espo Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 I realy like what you did with this kit. Now I need to dig around in my stash and build one also.
wraith Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 VERY NCE! Although I like the 1st set of wheels better.
tyrone Posted January 3, 2012 Author Posted January 3, 2012 Thanks for all the nice comments fellas, I really appreciate it, trying to get some of these lingering projects out of the way.... thanks again...
Johnag4004 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Simply STUNNING, these are my all time favourite American cars...
mikemodeler Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Thanks for all the nice comments fellas, I really appreciate it, trying to get some of these lingering projects out of the way.... thanks again... Yeah, I need to follow that sentiment Tyrone, Lord knows I have a ton of WIP that are 90% done and need to spend a few minutes with them to do what you are doing! Nice job on that El Camino and I bet between the polishing of the black paint and the foil job, you are glad to see this one finished! I have this kit yet to build and was leaning towards a blue or silver but I just might try a black paint job on it.
eviltwincustoms Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Great detail tyrone... nice job on the Polishing and the foil job. Myself I like the understated 5 slots, better than the large 22" wheels. I would love to drive that 396 around town and lower the front just a bit so that the rim would be right to the top of the wheel well. That would be hot to take out for a cruze on a summer night.
tyrone Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 Thanks for all the nice comments fellas, I like these old El Caminos....
Chris guthro Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 that is the perfect elcamino! although big wheels arent my thing. im more into ralleys and bfg radial t/a's
promo55 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 That is a nice Elky. Love the 3 way black. Great truck!
Rdkingjay Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 That thing just looks right from every angle. Great job, both times!
Rob McKee Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 That is one fine looking Elky. I really like your choice of wheels, The disc brake details stand out very nicely.
Leadworks Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 This one...needs a Trophy...next to it.....Great Job......
