Dr. Cranky Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 Jason, this vehicle really stands out. You've done a wonderful job with so many of its details. Excellent. Thank you for sharing.

Zarana-X Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 That Merc is really cool. The plow looks brutal.Your painting seems to be improving with each build.
sipari Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Thanks! It's not my painting, its AK- Worn Effects Fluid.
Dr. Cranky Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 Pasi, thanks for joining the caravan with such a wonderful contender. Thanks for sharing.

Dr. Cranky Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 APO, great to hear, post some pictures of your finished models here too.
rustymodeler Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 How much longer do we have to post pictures of our zombie hunters.
sipari Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I hope this goes on forever. I also thought that people post pictures here only because they want to. I'm working with Ferrari at the moment. Week or two and it is hopefully ready.
Dr. Cranky Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 Hello, everyone. Remember everyone who has posted a vehicle to this thread has an open invitation to submit work to be considered for publication in a book we are working on that will have as its main subject both Zombie Hunter and all types of Post-Apocalypse vehicles, including futuristic, steampunk, dieselpunk, retro, and Sci-Fi. When you are finished with your project all you have to do is take the best quality photos against a plain or white background with your camera settings at the highest levels and send between 8-12 pictures to Harry at harrypri@att.net. And, of course, everyone (new to this thread or a veteran of this thread) is invited to continue posting their builds here. Thank you.
sipari Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Finally finished with this one. I made an stupid mistake, so i had to work extra. Next time i maybe think more before acting. Anyways, here is Ferrari 3000, ready to put down zombies and other undesirable characters. And i am already working with new project. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/6009288231806161233?banner=pwa
sipari Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 My latest project "Spiky" was inspired by pwtomczak's "Stick Around" zombie killer car. Saw it when visiting AmericanScaleModel.freeforums.org. Maybe it's not very practical having spikes stuffed with rotting zombie flesh but i think those spikes look good. AK fluids were used for weathering again. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/6020259495798253953?banner=pwa
sipari Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 This is my latest project. Recycled plastic toy car. Front piece/plow is made from paperboard, paper and cardboard. And some wood. For weathering I used AK- Worn Effects fluid and sponge. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/6037773549744795041?banner=pwa
Zarana-X Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 It's been quiet in here. Almost, too quiet. I finally got around to fixing up my damaged '59 Cadillac. Will post some before and after pics when its all together. Still think this needs an official end date, and start a new one. Fury Road is coming out next year, hopefully that will re-ignite you guys enthusiasm/progress.
Zarana-X Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Despite my best efforts to start on a new project, I already started another PA car from junk yard bits. I cut the front off of a Revell 720 Datsun Pick up and mated it to a AMT 90 Chevy frame. Plan to put a Jeep grille on it.
Zarana-X Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 (edited) Narrowed the Chevy frame/base and rebuilt the firewall and transmission tunnel. Work so far: Edited July 26, 2014 by Zarana-X
otherunicorn Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 You do know you are meant to put the jeep grill on the front of a Holden Statesman, don't you? New Mad Max movie trailer is out today for any who haven't found it yet. Lots of interesting vehicles.
Zarana-X Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 You do know you are meant to put the jeep grill on the front of a Holden Statesman, don't you? Yes... . Where do you think I got the idea. This whole vehicle is literally being built from the junkpile, though.
