martinfan5 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Mike, well done my friend, very nice, thanks for taking part in the mustang CBP thread as well.
Chris guthro Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Very Nice! what did you use for tires? they look alot nicer than the kits
martinfan5 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I believe mike used tires from Pegasus hobby
oldscool Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Nice work and the ride height is good too. gus
W-409 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Great looking Shelby, little lowering made it look mean. I like that paintjob too, and engine details are pretty nice. It looks good with those wheels too. I'm not sure, if they are original or not, but they look like original styled...
69vette Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Well done MrMike, she sure is purty!!! Makes me want to go out and buy a 1:1 GT500!!! Jack
MyBradKeselowski Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Fantastic, I like the detail painting you did on the chassis and undercarriage...
Dr. Cranky Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 That turned out really nice, and the chassis is a work of art. Great job on it.
mrmike Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 Thanks everyone! Very Nice! what did you use for tires? they look alot nicer than the kits Chris, I used a set of Pegasus 225/45/18's in place of the kit tires.
Haubenschild Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Very nice Mike! , would you recommend this kit?
mrmike Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Thanks Liam! Yes, I would highly recommend this kit to anyone.
Patrick2005 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Thats a sweet looking Shelby. Awesome job!
Dominik Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Great looking Shelby, little lowering made it look mean. I like that paintjob too, and engine details are pretty nice. It looks good with those wheels too. I'm not sure, if they are original or not, but they look like original styled... The same in my mind, when i looked at the pictures. Cooool Mustang. I like the stance - it remind me to take a hand of mine on the frontaxle...
mrmike Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Thanks everyone! The wheels are the original kit wheels and are representative of the wheels on the '07 Shelby GT500. This was definitely a fun kit to build.
TheCat Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Very cool looking Shelby you've build there Mike. Great job.
