zelkam Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 hello. Here is my latest creation. At the SEMA Show, Troy Trepanier, an exposed, BUICK 54. Since that day, it haunts my nights. It is not exactly the same, this is my interpretation. I used a resin from R & R buy at NNL East. I wanted a modern interior, but not a Mercedes! To stay 100% US. I used the inside of a 2006 Dodge Magnum. There has been much build on the body. I spent a week on the front bumper. Difficult! The grids were build one by one. The rear bumper was also correct to stick to the car. Rims, did not exist in 1 / 25. I have created on the basis of Pegasus wheels with ball, ping pong. I created the "gills" on the wings with metal tubes. Scratch taillight. etc. I invite you, a great look at the full WIP on my Fotki. http://public.fotki.com/Zelkam/stock/buick-1954/ after before
Darin Bastedo Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Sweet, Very well done! I love the way the interior came out. Modern, but doesn't lose the style of the original. The stance is great, and considering how tough some of the R&R stuff can be to build, the finished product is nothing short of phenomenal! This build really gets me going!
Dominik Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 (edited) Oh - that came out great! Wow! Beautiful color painted and to the interieur. It looks fantastic! Edited January 20, 2012 by Dominik
