Finally got this thing done. Thanks to Rey Franco,a very good friend of mine from Puerto Rico, I was able to acquire an extra kit he had in his stash and I was able to replace the bad tires and the missing decals to finish this one off.

I had a lot of fun building this thing even though it's not the type of subject I generally build. Had a few friends tell me of the possible issues I was going to face building one of these, this helped me a bit, these type of kits are a little quircky when it comes to the final step of the build which is trying to get all 4 tires to touch the ground. I did have to kind of play around at the end but with a little effort I got it done. Hope you guys like it!

It is refreshing to see this kind of build coming from you, Marcos. Who knows, maybe you'll switch over to nothing but open-wheel and Le Mans racers now.

Who makes the kit?

Switch? From my muscle cars and American Iron to a shark with tires? I doubt it... :D I do have to admit that it was a lot of fun and certainly different. This is the actual kit...

Great job, Marcos! The RoG kits can be a real challenge. Sticking with it brought great results.

One of the few kits I may never finish is the RoG Benetton Ford. But, now that you've inspired me...............

Marcos, you're a master even when you step out of your comfort zone. Have you ever built a stock vintage classic, like a Rolls or Duesenberg? I'd love to see one.

This is awesome man, not surprised to see this coming from you even if it's a subject you are not used to. As always, the paint looks phenomenal and the decal work is top notch. Did you ever consider clearing them?

Thanks guys! Ed, I have never seen decals cleared on a real race car, that's why I never do it.

Brilliant. I tried one of those revell F1 cars once. Once was plenty. You did exceptionally well. It looks close to the real thing.

Thanks bro, I did this thing about 6 years ago, I could have done a lot of things better but it's good to sometimes go back and see your old builds, you can certainly see how much better you have become when you compare them to your recent builds! ;)

I was given this kit by my wife in Christmas and felt kind of intimidated but after seeing your work in progress I feel a lot more comfortable now, thank you so much for sharing this and all your work with us. My kit had 2 of the tires with the same problem you had, I am hoping Revell can help me with that. The Alcladed rims look really good on this car, surely something I will be doing with mine also.
