Guest Dr. Odyssey Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) Finished it! I posted what I did when I was building and painting it in the bench section or you can ask if you have any questions. Edited February 17, 2012 by Dr. Odyssey
wraith Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Has that cool "Sterrt Fighter" look to it! Even if it didn't have the A-Bomb decals! Mean looking!
MyBradKeselowski Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Interesting looking Chevelle, great job. I like the wheels...
Patrick2005 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 This is a pretty cool and unique build!
Danno Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Very cool ... sinister kewl, in fact! Good job
Draggon Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I dig it! Much rather see cars like this than all shiny and stuff...
Nate Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) That car has quite an attitude! I love it! I really like the way you chose to do the tutone paint job. Edited February 15, 2012 by Nate
jdmfan Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 looks good . i like the r34 skyline wheels . i used them on a 68 charger i built
Steve Keck Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I'm glad to see you didn't leave the window trim body color like so many do. It exudes muscle! What did you do to the grill?
Guest Dr. Odyssey Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 All the chrome was blacked out. So was the grille. Then I painted the raised area -normally chrome) with the greenish gray color. I might do some changes to it, maybe lower the rear.It looked good mocked up but now it looks high.
Guest Dr. Odyssey Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I didn’t like the way it sat so I lowered the rear. I also added some decals from airplane decal sets. Tiger mouth – tiger hash stripes. I tried to shoot it this time with more thought about the other discussion about making it look more real.
LAone Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 ok, i think if feeling Ver. 2.0 more than the first. i dig it bro. skyline wheels FTW..
DrBbody Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 From one Dr to another, looks positively MEAN after the "reconstructive surgery". Love the stance, and the image just looks sinister
