Hi everyone, these are some photos of the finished rat rig. It's built from a revell 41 Chevy pick up and a Revell W900 Kenworth. I used as much parts as possible from these kits. Everything else is scratch built or spare parts box items. Moved the front suspension to the rear, then built my own front suspension. Used part of the frame rails, shorthened and squeezed down the fuel tanks and built all the add on accessories. There is a build log in the On The Workbench forum showing some of the techniques I used. Well, now on to some more crazyness.

I followed along on your wip thread and all I can say is this build came out awesome! Very nicely done and love all of the fine details as well as the realistic / mild weathering you gave it. Superb job!

Nice work Ken. There is a lot to take in on this build - and you have to think about it to realize it. That makes it a great model in my book.

That made sense in my head, not sure it does in words. Great build, though.

Thanks everyone. The next build is going to be more on the clean side, but remember, even clean cars and trucks have a little grease and grime somewhere. Ken

There was a guy started a 1:1 project like that using a 1953 International about 8 years back. Saw it last year in a pick-a-part near here. Guess he lost interest or ran out of money..

Cool build! B)

Wow, Luckily I opened this Trucks section today, it looks VERY good! WIP was great to follow, and finished product is worth it. Weathering is perfect, and I like the detail. Thanks for sharing this beautiful build.
