jaymcminn
One does not drive oneself to the Oscars. One is driven to the Oscars.
A.R.C.
I`d still show up on the bike but I`d go for a money is no object ride first and see how many police cars I could get behind me by the time I arrived. Â
VW Dave
My first thought when I read this thread was I'd arrive in my classic style: Hmmmm....if money were no object, eh?
BOSWELL891
1957 Cadillac Fleetwood limo, only about 900 built and there's one in need of a restoration for sale right down the road from my house!
Chuck Most
I'd snub them and just not show up.

Sam Cates
Oh man, Dave had the right idea with the Tucker, such a beautiful car. But I think I would have to go with this little gem, since mine isn't quite to this stage, yet! ......or maybe one of these? uncle potts
My first thought when I read this thread was I'd arrive in my classic style: Hmmmm....if money were no object, eh? Amen to the Tucker.
Darin Bastedo
Ok money no object huh? Well regardless of budget my ride would have to reflect a certain attitude and style... So I might show up in Steve McQueen's Siata 208s.. Or perhaps Count Rossi's street legal Porsche 917... Or if the film I was nominated for was an indie flick, I might go counter culture and show up in a Tatra T-87... Or if I'm feeling a little patriotic, how about an AMC AMX/3 Prototype? Or maybe I'd just go subtle in a silver Mercedes 300 SL...
Darren B
I want to see more of this beauty is there a thread that i can follow?
Dr. Cranky
I'd snub them and just not show up. How Woody Allen of you, Chuck!

GrandpaMcGurk
I can't really picture myself going to the Oscars ???????????? But if I did, I guess it would have to be something like this........
JMChladek
Okay, is that a gloss black bug that got all rusty, or did somebody airbrush some rust onto it? That is one of the more bizarre paintjobs I have ever seen (and how do you go over speed bumps with something that low?).
Dr. Cranky
Yeah, everyone arrives in limos to avoid all the hassle of having to drive back drunk. I guess it's the safest way to go. I bet those limo drivers have a million and three stories to tell about the Hollywood debauchery . . . .
Jantrix
Something classy but not crazy. A late 20's to early 40's Duesenberg touring car.
Dr. Cranky
Rob, that sounds pretty classy indeed. If I starred in Westerns, I'd be tempted to show up in one of these . Edited February 27, 2012 by Dr. Cranky
ZombieHunter26
Friends, friends! I'm surprised no one has mentioned this beauty. If money were no object, this seasoned zombie hunter would show up in full regalia driving this- Dodge Tomahawk. For all bad mother truckers. Accept no substitute! ZombieHunter26
Speaking of the Tomahawk- I'm slightly irritated to find that there are no scale models of it. Only a 1:64 hotwheels. I don't know enough about how it's built to scratchbuild one either! Oh well.
kingtoy
If were talking the Oscars, you have to be driven. The only way to show up is....... A completely VIP'd out Lexus LS400.... the only way to ride.
sjordan2
Sophia Loren knew how to do it right. And I'm sure she still does.
