kruleworld Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 (edited) Wheels of Terror (1990) was a made for TV thriller about a mysterious black car that goes around a small rural town killing people. The mysterious black car is a 1971 Dodge Charger, with the front squashed down to look like a frowny face, and is always dirty. The model is amt 71 charger kit with the front modified. i cut out the center bar and heat bended it down, and the hood was heat treated as well. the 'dust' was done with a spray can of vinyl brown. i had to modify the front suspension to correct the wheel centering issue. I sold the model in 2009 to a collector/fan of the movie in the USA. no, really... Edited March 16, 2012 by kruleworld
a/gass Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 looks like the real car is a 73-74 charger SE? from the looks of the bumpers ied say 74. but your kit looks good.

JMD904 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I saw the movie. Wasn't impressed about it. Unique Dodge though.
kruleworld Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 after cutting the top half of the center piece out of the grille, i heated it and bent it down. i then heated the hood and bent it down to match.
