Joe Handley Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Is that bagged, juiced, or did the springs finally give up?
The70judgeman Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 (edited) Is ther any kits other then the back to the future kits? Actually, there is...I've seen one on ebay once and it was pretty expensive and very rare. I don't need the flak for saying there is or isn't. I've seen it and just saying what I saw. Sport Suburban Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Their was a resin conversion from All American Models for the Back to the Future kit. It does come up on ebay every now and then. This is what you get.

Boreham Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 (edited) no offence Shane but that's the worst looking DeLorean I've seen. Looks l,ike a bad kit car IMO Edited April 3, 2012 by Boreham
hotrod59f100 Posted April 3, 2012 Author Posted April 3, 2012 I just liked the baged look of the car I don't know much on these other then watching a program about their short life span.
cortinanut Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Actually, there is...I've seen one on ebay once and it was pretty expensive and very rare. I don't need the flack for saying there is or isn't. I've seen it and just saying what I saw. I recall seeing such a kit too--seems like it was in the $200 range when I spotted it on eBay several years ago. Wish I'd made a note of the info. IIRC it was styrene.
hotrod59f100 Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 Wow I get the shivers when a kit tops 50 let alone 200. . I guess I'll just keep dreaming.
Jon Cole Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 The die-cast BTTF's are still out there. I took this pic at a LHS a few months ago.

kruleworld Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 (edited) it's not impossible to strip the time machine stuff off a Aoshima BTTF kit. here's mine for some reason i built the chassis for it. it's almost a model in its own right. Edited April 4, 2012 by kruleworld
Bridgebuster Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 i have a stock 1/24 welly before they BTTFed the molds. this is foiled in brushed tin foil it comes in silver which i didnt hesitate in foiling over That's REALLY COOL Frank!!! I didn't realize a stocker existed. I would think there would be a market for one, though.
hotrod59f100 Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 Walter that does look cool. I wasn't sure if that garbage was moulded on it.
kruleworld Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Walter that does look cool. I wasn't sure if that garbage was moulded on it. yes it is molded on, at least the wire on the fenders was.
sjordan Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 2013 electric Delorean, now on display at the New York Auto Show. $95,000. The second-most-tweeted subject at the show, according to CNN. http://www.highsnobiety.com/news/2012/04/06/dmc-2013-delorean-electric-presented-at-new-york-auto-show/
hotrod59f100 Posted April 8, 2012 Author Posted April 8, 2012 My sister just got back from that show. She had to tell me that I missed it.
martinfan5 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Just found this, its one of the AAM delorean's http://www.ebay.com/itm/AAM-All-American-Models-Resin-Stock-DeLorean-/180861801826?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a1c341562
Junkman Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 for some reason i built the chassis for it. it's almost a model in its own right. There you can clearly see the Lotus DNA. Very nice build, btw.
