This is my idea of a Manx that is not built for off-road . It is for cruisin' the beach during the day and the drive-in at night .

I lowered the ride height 1/8 inch and used the tires from the AMT '62 Vette . The paint is Krylon Orange Glitter Blast over Pumpkin Orange . I scratch built the soft top , seat cushions , and tail lights . To finish it off I printed my own license plate !

Your comments and suggestions are welcome . I have lots of pictures so enjoy and Thank You !

I dig it! The flakey paint and whitewalls set it apart from the norm. Heck you even made those ugly amt tires look good. Great work!

Thanks for the comments guys . I'm surprised no one complained about the wide whites .

Dr. Cranky , Adorable ? I could handle cute or something , but adorable ?

Just kidding . . . Thanks for the compliment .

Robert, yes, it's cute, and actually I keep coming back to look at it again because of all that glitter. I would love to see this one in person. I think it's got all the right amount of charm/bling. Job well done.

Have you considered building a small base for it? Some sand, a surfboard, etc . . . I think it'd look extra cool against such a scene.

Diggin' the wide whites! Manx is versitile enough to be a boulevard cruiser.

Thanks Jon . I'm glad every one likes the white walls . Gives it a personality !

I don't know how I missed this one! B) This is one cool looking beach buggy worthy of bringing back to the top! I just finished mine so I was looking around at others.
