Here's my most recent effort. Trumpeters 1964 Falcon Sprint hardtop, street & strip. I painted it with HOK cinnamon pearl and mixed some Pearl Ex #655 super copper into the first coat of clear. Wheels are from the '71 Duster kit (thanks to D Wayne for the wheel back).

Thank guys. This one didn't come off as planned. I fogged HOK molly orange into the side trim thinking the pearl would be more translucent than it is. It doesn't show up at all. I live and learn.

I keep going, Rob. There's always 2 or 3 builds going on my bench. Right now I have the FAST club '40 Ford pickup, Beretta GT, and still working the street version of the Trantula. Have you marked you calender for October 27, 2012? That'll be the very first Florida Auto & Scale Trucks model contest and you might want to be part of it. It's 2 weeks after the NSRA/MAGS show in Tampa.

Jim, you've hit a Donn Yost style homerun with this one.

Doc ,

Did Mr Stepanek say , " Pearl X ? Hmm ! Very pretty , Jim , I like it alot ! The more you play with them, the more you'll fall in love with them !

Didi mau, indeed. Nice touch.

I really enjoy looking at the builds of this kit. I like the car but will never get the kit. The undercarriage looks underdetailed. Is it or did Trumpeter just not bother to put the effort into it? Is this what a Falcon looks like underneath?

Anyway, cool car.
