Chuck Most Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 The Ford rig rod and the Finned Phaeton have been on/off projects for quite a while, but the Chevy was a bit more recent. This one is a '50 Ford cab on a modified Lil Mixer frame, and powered with an IH V800 turbodiesel. It was another one of my 'kill some spare parts' projects. This is a '29 Chevy Roadster, but it began life as an MPC Vampire Van. The frame is Z'd, it is powered by a 392 Chrysler Hemi, and the rear half of the body is a cut-down '57 Chevy 150. And the last one is the Finned Phaeton. The body was made from a Model A cowl and '57 Chrysler quarter panels. It is also powered by Chrysler- a '32 Imperial straight 8 in this case.
crazyjim Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I like the first one even though I'm not a rat rod person.
Harry P. Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Three more winners! You sure do have a unique style...
Jantrix Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Yep, they got that Chuck Most style. Three winners there Chuck.

Jantrix Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 I like the first one even though I'm not a rat rod person. Ya know I think we're starting to rub off on 'ol Jim. He'll be building rusty and crusty before ya know it.
crazyjim Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Ya know I think we're starting to rub off on 'ol Jim. He'll be building rusty and crusty before ya know it. Not a chance, Rob. SHINY :) RULES!
Danno Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Nice ... thrice! They may be musty, rusty and crusty, but they're certainly thrusty and trusty!
Chuck Most Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 If anybody could pull off a glossy rat rod, it would be Jim.
