Matt, super cool. Never get tired of seeing different takes on this kit. Excellent mapping and chipping on this weathering job. Congrats.

Extra points for exploring the creative, but the (distracting) dirt pile does nothing for me. The car however... may be one of the most believable weathered vehicles I've ever seen here. Really exquisite.

I wasn't sure if there was a pile of dirt or dung on the roof,

I've said it before and I'll say it again. That guy ain't right.

Great build! I really like it.

You never know what kids will play in. Dried, used coffee? Did you just pile it on the roof or is it glued on like ballast on a train track?

No I used watered down white glue and some acrylic medium.

Joker, I thought a base would be good for this. Maybe when I have the time I'll do that. It would look better that way sitting on a shelf or desk in this case I think.

Lunajammer, thanks, but I get bored of the usual. I think it is a little more interesting this way. I've seen lots of beater cars. But I've never seen a pile of dirt on one. :)

Thanks again folks.

Yep, I agree, I like this car a bunch. Looks like real rust and very good work on the lower body. The overall look is great. Great job fer sure. :) Dan
