Ok now that my question about the type of engine was taken care of by you very knowledgable people , I am now looking for ideas on what to do... I am not really a dump truck fan so much as an IH fan.. so give me some direction on ways to go or what you like? How about a wrecker or flatbed car hauler... or post apocalypse road monster.....i have so many things i want to do i cant focus on one....

Jim coverered the most common uses. The Paystar is a very heavy duty truck, you generally find them in construction, mining, logging, oil exploration etc. The military has also purchased them, the USAF in particular used them as airfield water tenders to support crash trucks, where they also served double duty as large brush trucks.

Crane truck (block, concrete forms)

I remember there was a concrete company near me where I grew up In Miami, FL, that used orange Paystars to haul concrete blocks. Saw one of them dump his entire load off the side of his truck when he took a right off of US 1/South Dixie Highway onto Sunset Drive/SW 72 St. What a mess!

Don't know if fire trucks interest you at all, but I saw a neat single rear axle Paystar "urban interface" brush engine from Hawaii. It is a fancy term for a fire truck that is designed to fight fires where the wilderness meets mans desire to build homes in and near nature. This truck was painted bright yellow. If I can find the picture, I will post it. Pretty impressive truck!

I started one with the wrecker from AMT's Peterbilt 359 years ago but never finished it. I'm planning on making one I have into a sleeper tractor like Dakota's, without the crane. Mine will be a bit more like an Alaskan Hauler- just a big, burly, heavy duty fifth-wheel tractor.
